How it began
Stirling Campers started life almost by accident after visiting a campsite near Dunoon in Scotland. After seeing some self-built campervans and speaking to their owners, we set out to create our own self-built adventure. With three young children a challenging task of building a homely Campervan suitable for 5 began.
One year later Vannie Annie was complete. Within a few months we made the decision to rent it out and we have never looked back.
The future
2024
In 2024 we plan to change the way we hire and insure. Currently using platforms such as Goboony, Yescappa and Camplify have been extremely useful in the early stages of our business. In 2024 we plan to decrease our reliance on these platforms by taking over the rental contracts, insurance and advertise locally. This will allow us to hire our van out directly saving customers money on insurance and service fees.
2024/2025
We plan to increase our fleet by purchasing a second motorhome/campervan to rent out.
